admin

Join us for a two-day mushroom cultivation workshop at the UpS Botanical Sanctuary and take home your own mushroom cultures, logs & skills!
About this Event
Go beyond log-plugging! This mushroom cultivation workshop offers more advanced techniques for growing mushrooms at home and propagating native wild species.
Through hands-on activities, participants will learn to cultivate woodland mushrooms, amplify native mycorrhizal fungi, and collect and culture wild mushrooms in the new UpS mycology and microbiology lab. Everyone will take home mushroom cultures and valuable knowledge of fungi to imagine alliances with this seldom seen kingdom.
