Mission

Organic Grower School is the premier provider of practical and affordable organic education in the Southern Appalachians. We build a mutually supportive network of prosperous farmers, productive gardeners, and informed consumers.

To see a regionally-based, sustainable food and medicine system that is economically viable and ecologically sound. We work to integrate forest farming into the broader organic movement, helping farmers diversify their income through woodland crops.
