Conference Preview
Arrive starting at 12pm Friday afternoon and explore outdoor learning stations - Soil Acoustics,Ā Propagation Station, Slippery Elm research, and an Old Growth Forest Tour lead up to the 5pm Welcome Reception.Ā
On Saturday we open the conference with keynote Graham Rigby of theĀ American Herbal Products Association (AHPA), learning sessions,
interactive panels, and the 2026 Forest Farming Expo. A change of pace in the afternoon with regional networking, the poster session, and book signing. Enjoy dinner together with keynote speaker Elspeth Hay, author ofĀ Feed Us with TreesĀ and theĀ Local Food Report, followed by Appalachian music and dancing featuring Steve Kruger! Youth activities are available on Saturday and Sunday.Ā
Saving the best for last, Sunday morning brings intriguing sessions on American Ginseng, Affrilachian Herbs, Silk Moths, and the Experienced Forest Farmer Panel.Ā
The expanded digital program will be available the week of the conference including updated exhibitor and sponsor listings, session descriptions, and speaker biographies.
